An Evening Designed Around Minnesota's Best
Motion & Muse is an invitation-only evening that brings a hand-selected group of people together for exceptional food, wine and spirits, rare automobiles, and live art in one of the most beautiful settings Minnesota has to offer. It is never stuffy and never a sales pitch, just a night designed for guests to relax, be themselves, and enjoy the people around them.
The 2026 evening took place on September 17 at Lake Point Estate, a private lakefront compound on Lake Minnetonka in Wayzata. Guests moved between a sunset terrace, a glowing lounge bar, a cigar and card room, and a motor court lined with Lamborghinis, while a vintage aircraft flyover crossed the evening sky.
Each year we partner with a different charity and choose our sponsors as carefully as our guests, so that everyone in the room leaves with something meaningful. Our 2026 beneficiary was United Heroes League, which helps the children of military families stay in the game through free sports equipment, camps, and experiences.
THE EXPERIENCE
What Makes The Night
Every detail is planned with intention, right down to where the napkins sit. Here is what guests can expect.
Culinary
Chef-driven food stations and passed bites built around a Mediterranean Summer Nights theme, from caviar service on mother-of-pearl spoons to a grazing table that stretches the length of the room.
Wine & Spirits
Champagne on arrival, a lounge bar that glows after dark, and thoughtfully chosen wines and spirits poured all evening long.
Rare Automobiles
A motor court lined with exotic and collectible cars, parked where guests can get close, open the doors, and talk with the people who know them best.
Live Art & Surprises
Artists painting live through the evening, music, an auction, and a few surprises woven in, including a vintage aircraft flyover across the lake.
A Cause Worth Showing Up For
Every year Motion & Muse partners with a different charity. In 2026 that was United Heroes League, helping the children of military families get in the game, and we cannot wait to share who we are supporting next.

What is Motion & Muse?
Motion & Muse is an annual, invitation-only charity evening created by Nora Snelling, founder of The Aeris Agency. Think of it as Minnesota's answer to Aspen Food & Wine: exceptional food, wine and spirits, rare automobiles, and live art in a beautiful private setting, with a different charity benefiting each year.
How do I receive an invitation?
Invitations are extended personally, and the guest list is intentionally kept small. If you would like to be considered for a future year, email Nora at [email protected] and she will be in touch.
Who does Motion & Muse benefit?
Each year we partner with a different charity. Our 2026 beneficiary was United Heroes League, a nonprofit that helps the children of military service members participate in sports through free equipment, camps, grants, and experiences.
