The Aeris Agency Backstory
The Aeris Agency was founded on experience and a belief that private aviation should be handled with greater care and intention.
I entered the aviation industry in 2006 and have worked across nearly every aspect of it, including FBO operations, charter sales, jet cards, aircraft management, sales and acquisitions, and consulting. That experience revealed where the industry excels — and where it too often becomes transactional.
Private aviation isn’t mass transit. It deserves a higher standard of service.
The Aeris Agency was created to work in the best interest of the client, with transparency, advocacy, and hospitality at its core, while empowering brokers to be properly trained, build and own their book of business, and operate with real independence.
To support this vision, The Aeris Agency operates as a franchise of Stratos Jets. Stratos provides proven operational oversight and backend infrastructure — including compliance, contracts, accounting, technology, and trip execution — allowing Aeris to remain boutique, client-first, and focused on long-term relationships.

Meet The Team
Agency Owner
Nora Snelling
Nora is the Founder and Franchise Owner of The Aeris Agency, a boutique jet charter brokerage built on client advocacy, hospitality, and long-term relationships.
She entered the aviation industry in 2006 and has spent nearly two decades working across almost every aspect of private aviation, including FBO operations, flight operations, charter sales, jet card programs, aircraft management, sales and acquisitions, and consulting. This broad experience gives her a rare, behind-the-scenes understanding of the industry — operationally, commercially, and personally.
In addition to The Aeris Agency, Nora owns and operates an aviation consulting and sales coaching business, where she helps companies and professionals refine sales strategy, elevate client experience, and build sustainable, high-trust businesses. She is also the founder of Too Fly, an aviation-inspired apparel brand created to bring creativity, personality, and conversation back into the industry.
Outside of aviation, Nora values faith, family, and meaningful connections. She has a deep love for Italy, enjoys cooking, and studied culinary arts at Le Cordon Bleu. Her favorite moments, however, are spent at home with her husband Kevin and their two sons, Hunter and Logan.
Her approach is simple: protect the client, empower people, and do things the right way.

Derek Lartey
Derek’s spark for aviation began in high school when he went up with a family friend in a 152. Looking back no further, aviation has become his lifelong pursuit. As the pioneer of aviation in his family, he plans to keep this spark alive and share the fascinating world of aviation with his friends and family. What excites Derek most about this pursuit is the opportunity to build meaningful relationships and what there is to learn from these relationships.
As a proud graduate of The Minnesota State University, Mankato, Derek earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Aviation as an Instrument-rated Private Pilot. With a background in sales in the insurance and solar industry, he prioritizes good communication by actively listening and making sure those he communicates with are well heard and understood.
Derek loves to golf. Although he is far from a good golfer, what excites him about golf is that he has more to learn and how simple yet complicated the sport is. He loves the gym, loves to fish, and loves to spend time with friends and family. He’s a very active individual with a love for the outdoors and summer weather.
He values faith and spending quality time with people he cares about, while putting in effort to create new and meaningful relationships. With that in mind, Derek strives to bring these values into every client interaction by helping navigate their aviation goals with clarity, trust, and ease.
